If you are using X-CDs program scheduling module, your app is effectively ready to launch when you are finished building your program. All of your speaker data, session information, presentations, times, rooms etc. are synced in real time so you never need to make a change in more than one place. 

Your app just needs a few pieces of specific artwork, and ideally some custom pages I.e Things to Do in XXXX, About the Committee, Venue Maps, Wifi/Speaker Ready Room info etc. and your app is ready to publish! 

You do need an Apple Developer Account to use either the Branded Conference App, or the Multi-Event App. You do not need an ADA to use the Container App. Even with the container app, your event app and program are fully customized and branded to match your conference, however the actual app in the stores is not branded custom for you. Attendees will download  X-CDs app called “eConference.io”, and enter a special code for your event.

Yes! Attendees can send DMs to each other through the app and make connections on site by scanning other attendees badges (if you are using X-CDs registration tools). 

Well, yes, but not through the our conference mobile apps. We offer a separate Exhibitor Lead Retrieval App called LeadR – which is made specifically for exhibitors to scan attendee badges, take notes, follow up, and export their leads. This is difference than attendee-attendee scanning and connecting through the conference mobile app. 

Lots of options!

1. A “Splash Screen” can load each time the app is opened, which “splashes” in the screen, giving great visibility to key app sponsors. You can set the amount of seconds you want this ad to appear. 
2. A “Welcome Sponsor Video” that plays in addition to the splash screen – this should be a brief message or plug for a key sponsor . After the user watches it once for the day, they can skip through it each time after. 
3. Banner ads at the bottom of the app that can link to sponsors websites or landing pages. But don’t worry! If you offer CME’s at your conference and you can’t mix the “church and state” we can restrict any sponsorship information from the entire program! 
4. There is a fixed ad that can be placed on the left menu when it slides out – this is also very high visibility for your sponsors ($$)

Get creative with your mobile app sponsorship opportunities. Many conferences send our sponsored push notifications on behalf of their key sponsors or exhibitors to keep the companies top of mind before, during, and after the conference, and can help drive traffic to their booths during exhibit hall hours. 

With all of these advertising and sponsorship opportunities, your app should not only be “covered” by your sponsors, but it should even drive revenue if marketed and sold correctly!
