The Origin Story
X-CD came to begin in the late 90’s after co-founders Marty Goldhar, and Terry McDonald left The Boeing Company to explore new opportunities. X-CD was initially incorporated as X-CD Aerospace Industries, and serviced the Aerospace industry as a digital database of Aerospace parts and manufacturers. With the Dot Com bubble and shifts in the technological landscape, X-CD’s first pivot was into online database management – helping engineering conferences in the Aerospace industry collect and manage their academic papers – and to produce technical proceedings.
Over the decades, X-CD has organically and strategically grown their company, technology and product suite to service the academic association and conference industry.
